Ministry Leader: Joe Manthei

Honduras - Biblical Institute of Central America

The Biblical Institute of Central America (BICA) was founded by George Hall in 1998 and is now restricted to a single school of preaching in Honduras. (Schools in Guatemala and Nicaragua operate under separate leadership). BICA is a low-cost 2-year preacher training school. In addition to Bible study, BICA provides courses on mission work, evangelism, and homiletics (the art of preaching). Students are very involved with the surrounding communities. They attend school during the week and conduct door-knocking campaigns and home Bible studies on the weekends. Every student participates in starting house churches. BICA graduates are expected to be self-supporting. BICA will provide seed money to help graduates start their businesses (welding, computer repair, clothing sales, etc.).

South Pacific Bible College - New Zealand

The South Pacific Bible College (SPBC) has been in operation since 1982. Graduates return home to their countries (New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Tonga, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia, Thailand and others) to teach, preach, evangelize and plant churches. SPBC is headed by Steve Raine. SPBC is partially funded by the Otumoetai Church of Christ in New Zealand. In addition to Biblical training, the work involves strengthening existing churches, developing local leadership, and establishing new congregations.

Steve's wife, Gill has her own mission work, Rahab Ministries which operates in one of Bangkok, Thailand's red light districts. Gill visits the area and offers the women opportunities for job skills in a Christian environment.

Thessaloniki, Greece - Daniel Napier

Dr. Daniel Napier holds a PhD in Theology. He moved to Thessaloniki, Greece, with his family in 2018 to reach out to the Muslim refugees as well as to the native Greeks. As the majority of the Muslim refugees have since moved to other countries, Daniel is now focusing on the local population and ministering to other missionaries and churches throughout Europe. After it closed, Daniel shipped the entire library of the Austin Graduate School of Theology to Thessaloniki and is opening it up to the public, to include a coffee shop, meeting rooms and a room for weight lifting. Additionally, Daniel continues to mentor Muslim converts to equip them with the knowledge and ability to share the Gospel with others.

Tuba City Church of Chirst--Tuba City, Arizona

Eric & Tracy Kee minister to the native Navajo within the Reservation in Tuba City, Arizona. Eric is Navajo and is fluent in the native language. We began our support for this work in 2015. The Kee's share their lives with the Navajos and concentrate on helping the poor by activities such as supplying firewood, repairing homes, cleaning yards and general repairs. This is the Navajo way which the Kees do without ceasing, while sharing the gospel and giving God the glory.

Throughout the year, many youth groups from around the country come for one or two weeks to help out. They stay in facilities on site that were built for this purpose. These "hogans" are large round structures with numerous bunk beds and all utilities. The young men and women always stay in separate units and work tirelessly under the Kee's supervision to do God's work.

Program for Humanitarian Aid (PHA)

Program for Humanitarian Aid (PHA) is a faith-based non-profit organization that has helped people in Ukraine since 2008. Over the years, PHA has supported orphans, disabled children, and hospitals, and provided resources and assistance to improve the quality of life for those they serve.
When the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022, PHA shifted its focus to helping internally displaced Ukrainians. While their mission has not changed, in this time of crisis, and with God’s guidance, they are fully living into their humanitarian aid roots.  When the war ends in Ukraine, PHA plans to shift its focus back to orphaned and at-risk youth.

"We were serving in Ukraine before the war and continue to serve through the war.  God willing, we will be serving when the war ends."

Nairobi, Kenya - Larry and Hollye Conway

Larry and Hollye Conway have served as missionaries in Africa since 1986. Larry helped establish several local churches and continues to support and encourage them. He has also tirelessly reached out to the destitute children living on the streets of Nairobi. Larry speaks the native Swahili and teaches the children about Jesus and his love for them. Larry has established two homes for the street children who agree to give up drug use and other destructive behaviors. The Conways are also involved in home Bible studies, assisting missionaries traveling through Nairobi, and participating in local community activities that enhance church exposure. Larry teaches one day a week at the Nairobi Great Commission School, a facility that educates Kenyan men to become church leaders—Hollye volunteers at local orphanages.
