Lisa Bray has been on staff with the Marble Falls Church of Christ for 13 years. After she and her husband and children moved to Marble Falls, she began a dual role as administrative secretary and children’s ministry coordinator in 2012 and transitioned into full time children’s ministry in 2019. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in applied learning and development, a mathematics specialization, and a 1st-8th grade teacher certification. She taught kindergarten for two years in Marble Falls before transitioning into her work with MFCOC. Lisa ‘s heartfelt desire is for children of all ages to come to know the amazing grace of the God who created them and the unconditional love of Jesus who died for them as seen in the truth of scripture. She considers children’s ministry a strategic partnership with parents and families in the important work of Deuteronomy 6:6-9. ”These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
