VISION

The Marble Falls Church of Christ desires to be a community of Jesus followers who are seeking other disciples, meeting people where they are, living lives of selfless service and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Marble Falls Church of Christ is a community of Jesus followers in the Hill County of Texas. We are a people committed to joining God’s activity in our community and around the world. We are a place that strives to be open to all people because we believe that every person is precious to Jesus!
We believe in the existence of the eternal God who -- though One being -- is revealed in three distinct personalities: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that God is the creator of heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1). We believe that Jesus Christ was sent to this earth to live a sinless life and died a cruel death on the cross to redeem mankind from their sin (Ephesians 1:7-10).  We believe that God the Father sends the Holy Spirit to indwell in believers who place their faith in the saving, redemptive work of Jesus Christ. We believe that we are saved by the grace of God through the redeeming work of Jesus.
We believe that the proper response to the redeeming work of Jesus is obedient faith (Ephesians 2:1-10). We believe that believers who confess their faith in Jesus Christ and are baptized for the forgiveness of their sins are added to the Body of Christ (Acts 2:38-47) We believe that the family of God should assemble every Sunday to worship and to thank God for His blessings and care, to take the Lord's Supper in memory of the Savior and to fellowship and uplift each other in the great journey of faith (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
We believe that God has revealed His will to mankind through the Bible, which is the divinely inspired and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). As a church, the description of who we are and what we do is revealed by the life and teaching of Jesus as well as through the example of the first churches as presented in Scripture (Acts 4:42-47).
We believe in the autonomy of the local church. We believe the spiritual oversight of the local church has been granted to Shepherd-Elders whose chief concern is the spiritual well-being of every member of the church family (1 Peter 5:1-4).
